How do we bring awareness to the Pensacola Cultural Center building as a city landmark and cultural hub of our community?
The Pensacola Cultural Center is an iconic, historic building in downtown Pensacola, widely known as the home of Pensacola Little Theatre. In actuality, the space is also home to a host of diverse organizations including Ballet Pensacola, Liberty Church, West Florida Literary Federation, IMPROVable Cause, EntreCon®, Pensacon, the Stamped LGBTQ Film Festival, and more.
As the 2021 Brand on Us® recipient, The Cultural Center’s leadership and board members approached idgroup with the challenge of broadening awareness of the building and its organizations as the cultural hub of Pensacola. Their goal was to reposition the Cultural Center in the minds of locals to encourage community pride in the building and compel donors to contribute to a capital campaign to fund the restoration and modernization of the interior and exterior spaces.
Through our Branding from the Core® process, the idgroup team created an integrated communications campaign and new visual identity that would lay the foundation for the future of “The Center.” Developed and deployed with the help of our production and media partners, the “Find Your Center” campaign launched with great fanfare alongside the 2021 FooFoo Festival.
Since November 2021, The Center has received more than $2.1M in donations to support their goals.
